This is FIX4BIKE®

The FIX4BIKE® adapter solution from ORIS is used for vehicles with a FIX4BIKE® towbar. A form-fit-based locking system is used instead of the usual clamping system (frictional locking). Thanks to the FIX4BIKE® pins on the side of the towball neck and the FIX4BIKE® adapter solution on the carrier, an absolutely secure, fully positive connection to the vehicle is possible.

The system also impressed the ADAC: in the large bike carrier comparison test 04/2025, FIX4BIKE® bike carriers were “by far the easiest to install” according to the mobility club. This was also confirmed by the Touring Club Switzerland (TCS) in its 2025 bike carrier test, using the ORIS TRACC FIX4BIKE bike carrier as an example: “Models with the FIX4BIKE® system are particularly impressive – no effort required, clear locking, hardly any risk of incorrect assembly.”

By the way: If your vehicle was delivered from the factory with a towbar, there is a good chance that it is equipped with the innovative and patented FIX4BIKE® towbar. After all, many car manufacturers rely on towbars from us. If your towbar has two pins on the side of the towball neck, your vehicle is FIX4BIKE®-ready.

One click and the carrier fits

The ORIS TRACC FIX4BIKE®, installation has never been so safe and easy. Thanks to the one-click system with automatic and acoustic locking – unlike conventional bike carriers – only one movement is required to attach and detach the system. The bike carrier for all FIX4BIKE® towbars is positioned above the towball and then simply lowered until it audibly clicks into place automatically, securely and extremely firmly. The bike carrier aligns itself in a stable position, so there is no need for any awkward adjustment. Removal is just as easy: the FIX4BIKE® bike carrier can be removed in a single step – a quick pull on the handle is enough to release the connection and it can then be removed.

As well as being easy to use, FIX4BIKE® also ensures a higher load capacity than can be achieved with a clamping system.

Ingenious in everyday life

Once fitted, the bike carrier can be easily tilted using a foot pedal, so that access to the boot is possible at any time, even when loaded.

An optional loading ramp is also available for easy and effortless loading with e-bikes or pedelecs. Extra-long ratchet straps are available as accessories for oversized frame and wheel geometries.

When not in use, the bike carrier can be folded up in just a few simple steps and stored in the practical transport bag to save space in the boot, garage or cellar.

Bicycle carrier for up to 3 bikes or up to 2 e-bikes

Thanks to the optional extension, the ORIS TRACC FIX4BIKE® bike carrier can carry up to 3 bikes and up to 2 e-bikes. The extension is simply plugged in and screwed tight, and the ORIS TRACC FIX4BIKE® can also be folded up extremely compactly with it.
